Wells Fargo is the lead bank investing in the Dakota Access Pipeline- DAPL. That makes them complicit in the abusive treatment of water protectors and members of the media. They are also accountable for the damage to the environment this pipeline is causing.
The banks funding this atrocity depend on lots of people who deposit their cash in checking or savings accounts. They are using our money to fund this ecologically destructive project.
This action was meant to send a message to both the public, asking them to divert their funds to local credit union as well as let Wells Fargo know where we stand with their actions.

The Red Warrior Camp, in partnership with the Camp of the Sacred Stones issued an official Call to Action for allies from around the world to stand in solidarity with the groups by joining the #NoDAPL Global Weeks of Solidarity Actions from September 3 – 17.
According to the call to action “Water is a necessity for all life. Water is life. Now is the time for all people from all walks of life to join together to stop the desecration and destruction of water, land and life!”
This action drew together many people to help plan and contribute. Quite a few continued, growing and gaining more people… eventually becoming known as PANDOS.
